Pay-as-you-go credits
Pay-as-you-go (PAYG) is the solo paid plan: buy credits and pay per sale. After KES 500 credit spend on sales in a calendar month, unlimited sales unlock for the rest of that month. Need staff? Upgrade to Team (KES 1,000).
How credits work
- 1 credit = KES 0.20
- Starter: about KES 50 when joining gives credits to begin selling
- Credits roll over; top up via M-Pesa when balance runs low
- Monthly spend/purchase cap: KES 500 — then unlimited sales until month end
- Same solo counter features: M-Pesa checkout, barcode, reports, Market shop link
When Team fits instead
- You need more than one gadget/user at the counter
- You want staff invites, branches, and directory listing
- Predictable KES 1,000/month is simpler than watching credits
Simple decision
Solo shop? Stay on PAYG and let the KES 500 cap unlock unlimited for busy months.
Team at the till? Team at KES 1,000.
